Valentine

So Rylee is only 10 and is spoiled and had a better Valentine than I did. She has this boy at school who has liked her forever that brought her a Valentine's Day gift. He was go cute, he came to the door and handed it to me and asked if I would give it to Rylee. The whole time she was standing right behind me. I'm in for a lot of trouble when Rylee becomes a teenager. She's been boy crazy since she was 3.
I did have a good Valentine too. I had a late Valentine date, Bryce had to work Thursday so he took me to dinner and movie Friday night instead. We went to see JUMPER, neither one of use thought it was very good.

Cross Country Skiing

Last weekend the girls and I went up to Trefoil Ranch in Provo Canyon with the girl scouts and had a mother/daughter weekend. On Saturday morning we went cross country skiing. It was a lot of fun, but I was sore afterward. I used muscles I didn't know I had.

We also learned how to make cute scrapbook boxes. They are so cute but very complicated. I brought all of them home unfinished and the girls want me to finish thiers for them

We're finally finished!!

It has taken forever, but we are finally finished with the boys bedroom! I told them now that it took so long to draw, tape, and paint their room, that it will stay that way until they move out and maybe longer. I'm not doing that again. We have a metal Yankee Stadium sign that we still have to hang up, and a friend of mine is making a vinyl sign that will say "Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game." Now it's time to start on the living room or kitchen. By time I get my whole house done it will be time to start all over!

Winter fun!

On Saturday the family got together at my parents house and went sledding down the hill on the side of thier house and then my brother-in-law hooked an ice fishing sled to the back of my dad's 4wheeler and pulled us around the pasture in the sled. It was a lot of fun. My dad even came out and took a turn driving the 4 wheeler. I've got to admit I was a little nervous letting my kids ride on the back of the 4wheeler the way my brother-in-law drives, but the sled was a blast!!




My boys spent the night at my parents house Friday night and my dad helped them build a snow cave.

Raising a Mule

It's pretty bad when you have to take your own child to the principles office. I have been having problems with Brenan wanting to stay with me at school instead of going to class. On Friday at school he was throwing a tantrum over his lunch and tried to follow me out to recess. I gave him the option of eating his lunch or going to the principle office, and he chose the office. When I was done working I went to the office to see if he was still there and the secretary said that he quit throwing his tantrum but was now refusing to go back to class. I tell you he is just like his dad STUBBURN!! I told this story to my KariAnn at our monthy movie night, and she said I was raising a mule and she didn't think even uncle Billy's mules were as stubburn as Brenan. I definately have my hands full with him, but he keeps life interesting. :)
